The format shapes the mood of your day as much as the dishes. Here is how to choose between a relaxed buffet and a seated banquet.
Before the dishes come the format — and it sets the tone of the whole celebration. A buffet feels relaxed and social; a seated banquet feels refined and considered. Neither is “better”; the right choice depends on the day you want.
The buffet
A buffet invites guests to serve themselves from a beautiful display — eight chef-selected finger foods, a grazing board, live stations and mini desserts, with staff on hand throughout. It suits mingling, mixed guest lists and warm coastal evenings where nobody wants to sit still. Expect from around €60 per guest.
The banquet
A seated banquet is fine dining brought to your venue: an amuse-bouche, curated starters and mains, a live-cooking chef and full restaurant service across three, four or five courses (from €100, €125 and €150 per guest). It is the choice for landmark venues and a more formal, unhurried celebration.
A hybrid works too
Many couples combine the two — a seated dinner followed by a late-night grazing table or dessert station. Whatever the shape, every menu is seasonal and customisable. Prices exclude 21% VAT.
