Romantic Private Dinner by a Private Chef
An intimate multi-course tasting menu, cooked and served at your villa by a private chef, with candlelit styling for anniversaries, proposals and quiet evenings.
For the evenings that deserve more than a restaurant table, FlexFood sends a private chef and server directly to your villa, terrace or hotel suite. A bespoke multi-course tasting menu is prepared course by course, paired with wine, and set beneath candlelight — in Marbella, along the Costa del Sol, or anywhere in Europe you wish to celebrate.
Perfect for
Perfect for anniversaries, proposals, honeymoons or simply an evening reserved entirely for two. Suited to Marbella villas, Málaga apartments, yachts and private terraces across Europe, with the menu, wine pairing and table styling tailored to the occasion and setting.
What is included
- Bespoke multi-course tasting menu, cooked fresh course by course
- Private chef plus discreet server for the full evening
- Curated wine pairing selected to complement each dish
- Candlelit table styling with linen, florals and soft lighting
- Available at your villa, terrace or private residence anywhere in Europe
A dinner for two is the least visible thing we do and the most exacting. There is nowhere to hide a slow course or a distracted server, and the couple should be aware of the kitchen only when a plate arrives. We agree the menu in advance around what you both eat, cook it on site course by course, and pair each course with wine. Pacing follows the table rather than the clock. Proposals and anniversaries account for most of these evenings, so the planning is usually done quietly with one person.
How we work on site
A private dinner runs with one chef and one server. We arrive around two hours before the first course, longer where the table needs florals, candles and hired linen. We cook in the villa kitchen where it can be used and bring a compact mobile setup where it cannot. Wine is chilled on site rather than delivered cold. After dessert we clear the kitchen and the table, and the house is left exactly as we found it.
Sample menu
- Oyster with cava and green apple mignonette
- Hand-dived scallop, cauliflower and brown butter
- Málaga red prawn tartare with citrus
- Turbot roasted on the bone, sherry beurre blanc
- Aged beef fillet, bone marrow and red wine jus
- Chocolate and olive oil ganache with sea salt

Good to know
Is there a minimum charge for a dinner for two?
Yes. Each format carries a minimum number of guests, and billing follows that minimum even if fewer people attend on the day. Our menus begin at €50 per guest and rise with the format, so we confirm the exact figure when we quote.
How far ahead should we book a private dinner?
Bookings arrive from one week to two years ahead. Midweek dinners can often be arranged at short notice; summer weekends between mid-April and mid-October are harder, as the same chefs are committed to larger events.
Can you help keep a proposal a surprise?
Yes. We plan with one of you only, arrive and set up while the other is out, and agree in advance exactly when the ring, the flowers or the photographer appears. Nothing is confirmed by message to a shared number.
Do you supply the wine, or should we?
Either works. We can select and bring a pairing built around the menu, or work with bottles already in the house. If you have something particular you want opened, tell us early so the courses are written around it.
Where can a private dinner take place?
Most take place at private villas — Sierra Blanca, La Zagaleta, El Paraíso, Sotogrande — and at fincas inland towards Álora and Coín. Public locations are possible but rare, and any permits there are arranged by the client.
Can FlexFood cater a romantic dinner outside Marbella?
Yes. While Marbella and the Costa del Sol remain our home base, our private chef team regularly travels across Europe for proposals, anniversaries and honeymoons. Simply share your destination and date, and we will arrange the chef, menu, wine pairing and styling to match the venue, wherever it is.
How far in advance should we book, and what does it cost?
We recommend booking at least two to three weeks ahead, longer for peak summer dates or proposals requiring extra coordination. Pricing depends on the menu, wine pairing and location, and is quoted per couple after a short consultation. Prices exclude 21% VAT.
